Salad Season is here and this Homemade Green Goddess Salad Dressing is absolutely delicious!
Now that you the weather is warming up around here, we tend to start eating a lot of Salad in our house!
Store-bought dressings are typically full of sugar, sodium, and other additives and preservatives that are unhealthy.
I love a Homemade Salad Dressing that I can make from scratch at home. This way, I know the exact ingredients that are in my salad dressing and I can ensure my salad stays healthy!
Green Goddess Salad Dressing Recipe
Ingredients
1 - cup Parsley (packed, stems removed)
1/2 - cup Baby Spinach (packed)
3 - TBS. Chives (roughly chopped)
3 - TBS. fresh Dill
1 - TBS. Green Onions (chopped)
1 - tsp. dried Tarragon
1 - Garlic Clove (minced)
1/2 - cup light sour cream (or) plain nonfat yogurt
1/2 - cup avocado (or) Sour Cream
1 - TBS. Lemon Juice
1 - tsp. Honey
1/2 - tsp. Salt
Dash of freshly ground black pepper
Directions
In a food processor or a blender, blend the parsley, spinach, chives, dill, green onions, garlic, and dried tarragon.
Add the sour cream (or) plain nonfat yogurt, avocado (or) sour cream to the food processor. Add in the lemon juice, honey, salt, and black pepper, then blend well.
