Hello... April!
April showers… Bring May flowers!
Here in the PNW we definitely come in like a lion and out like a lamb!
The month of April is always a wonderful wet start to our Spring season and puts a halt on the start of planting season around here. For most in our zone (8b), unless you’re a “Newb”, you’ll be itching to start planting but know to be safe we wait until Mothers Day weekend here in the PNW with the Almanac saying last freeze date set for April 27th.
The weather loves to tease us around here, giving us a random day in the week where we get sunny skies and 60* weather… to the next day barely reaching 40* and dumping rain!
Anyone else exciting to get out planting?!
